ABOUT NELSON NATURALS

THE ORIGINAL ZERO WASTE TOOTHPASTE

Plastic-Free is one of Nelson Naturals main company ethos and has been since day one way back in 2012. They are actively helping to divert millions of plastic tubes from oceans and landfills, while simultaneously raising awareness of the negative impacts of single use plastics.

Nelson Naturals has end to end waste reduction measures implemented throughout their manufacturing process.

The average person will spend close to 1500 hours of their life brushing their teeth. Two minutes, twice a day really does add up!

Most people who use conventional toothpastes don’t even realize what they are putting into their bodies. There are a plethora of ingredients in store brand toothpastes that have nothing to do with your oral health, and everything to do with cutting costs.

When Nelson Naturals started out, it was extremely important to them that they left out these questionable and toxic ingredients and used only clean, food grade ingredients.

They have stood by that belief, and as they continue to grow and evolve that remains a pillar in their company philosophy.

We encourage you to think outside the tube and give Nelson Naturals a try today!

FAQ's

How do I use it?

Dip. Brush. Smile!

We recommend dipping your brush directly in the jar to apply. Not only is this extremely easy to use but you can actually get it all out. Alternatively, you can use a small spoon to apply to bristles.

Please re-cap the jar after use to prevent the product from drying.

My toothpaste is drying up / getting hard -

Nelson Naturals strives to provide you with the cleanest possible product free of any unnecessary emulsifiers, gelling agents or other filler. Leaving the lid on between use should prevent the product from drying. Should you find that the product has dried up, simply add some water and stir with a metal spoon. Start with only a few millilitres and add till desired consistency is reached.

What makes Nelson Naturals better than any other toothpaste?

Most brands use harsh chemicals like Sodium Fluoride and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. These chemicals are highly toxic and if ingested it is recommend you contact poison control. Nelson Naturals uses only food grade ingredients.

The consistency of the paste changes over time is this OK?

Yes, absolutely. It will not go bad, but it might dry out if left open for an extended period. If this happens, just add a bit of water and stir!

What minerals are used?

Nelson Naturals uses a Liquid Mineral Concentrate that is ionic and desalinated. It contains over 72 different naturally occurring minerals from the Great Salt Lake in Utah.

I have sensitive teeth, can I still use Nelson Naturals?

Yes - you may even find that you experience a decline in sensitivity after using Nelson Naturals.
